Modular Mill System

With its new modular design, the FreDrive-Lab milling system allows for the integration of 5 different milling processes in one system. This enables the user to produce a wide variety of particle sizes ranging down to the lower particle size distribution spectrum of D90 < 10 μm.

Flexible Milling

Utilising a Tri-Clamp Flange to fit the milling heads, this makes the FreDrive-Lab Milling System a versatile system. Allowing for rapid alternation of milling processes as the interchangeable heads can be installed and removed within seconds. When uninstalled the various milling heads are sealed for cleaning and sterilising.

Performance

The FreDrive-Lab offers performance perfect for Laboratory Applications with the ability to produce batches from 50g up to 1kg, as well as being a stable platform for pilot-scale quantities, with a production rate of 30 – 150kg/h. The FreDrive-Lab is like no other, in that it ensures and guarantees a true scale-up from lab-sized batches up to pilot-scale batches, and then from pilot-scale batches to high-volume industrial production.

Cost-Effective

The modular system of the FreDrive-Lab nullifies the excessive spending in getting an individual machine for each of the 5 processes provided. This allows you to make substantial savings on machine costs. It enables you to start milling processes required, and over time increase capacity and milling processes with the purchase of other milling heads as your needs evolve.

OscilloWitt-Lab

The oscillating and rotating sieve mill is ideal for processing small-scale laboratory batches of 50g to 1kg. The OscilloWitt-Lab has been designed for difficult-to-process or heat-sensitive products. With its production rate of 30 – 100 kg/h, the OscilloWitt-Lab allows for pilot-scale quantities and comes with the Scale-Up guarantee with other FreDrive-Production equipment.

The compact design provides quick and easy setup and integration into any laboratory.

ConiWitt-Lab

The conical sieve mill is ideal for processing small-scale laboratory batches of 50g to 1kg. The ConiWitt-Lab has been designed for the sizing and des-agglomeration of a vast range of dry and wet powders. With its production rate of 30 – 120 kg/h, the ConiWitt-Lab allows for pilot-scale quantities and comes with the Scale-Up guarantee with other FreDrive-Production equipment.

The compact design provides quick and easy setup and integration into any laboratory.

TurboWitt-Lab

The cylindrical mill is ideal for processing small-scale laboratory batches of 50g to 1kg. The TurboWitt-Lab has been designed for the des-agglomeration and homogenisation of a vast range of both dry and wet powders to a fineness of 150 μm. With its production rate of 30 – 150 kg/h, the TurboWitt-Lab allows for pilot-scale quantities and comes with the Scale-Up guarantee with other FreDrive-Production equipment.

The compact design provides quick and easy setup and integration into any laboratory.

The hammer mill is ideal for processing small-scale laboratory batches of 50g to 1kg. The HammerWitt-Lab has been designed for pulverisation and milling of hard crystalline or fibrous products to a fineness of 30 μm. With its production rate of 30 – 120 kg/h, the HammerWitt-Lab allows for pilot-scale quantities and comes with the Scale-Up guarantee with other FreDrive-Production equipment.

PinMill-Lab

The mill is ideal for processing small-scale laboratory batches of 50g to 2kg. The PinMill-Lab is designed for pulverising hard or crystalline products to a particle size down to D90 of 10 μm. The PinMill-Lab also allows for pilot-scale quantities.

The compact design provides quick and easy setup and integration into any laboratory as well as integration into a Glove-Box.
