EDF Non-Return Valve
The YGROS non-return valve opens when the inflow pressure exceeds that of the combined pressure of the outflow and the magnetic field. The valve closes when the difference in pressure ceases and the higher back pressure pushed the valve shutter back against the seal. While a traditional spring valve, when open the spring is at a maximum compression resulting in a maximum resistance to the inflowing fluid, the YGROS valves result in minimal resistance to the inflowing fluid, with the shutter away from the magnetic field requiring minimal force to close the valve.
The differential pressure needed to open the valve in a horizontal position is 0.05 bar, this differential pressure tends to zero when the valve is open and therefore operational losses of energy are almost zero.
